What to report?
Meldpunt Kinderporno treats reports confidentially.
According to the Dutch law, child sexual abuse material (under which photos, videos, GIFs and stickers) of children under the age of 18 includes:
performing sexual acts
sexual posing
being in a sexually explicit environment
It is sometimes difficult to determine whether images are punishable. If you have any doubts, report it anyways. Our analysts then assess whether it concerns criminal material. Our employees can only analyze images that are in a public place and for which there is a URL.

Do not report in these cases
Reporting at Meldpunt Kinderporno is not intended for the following purposes:
pornography that only shows adults
erotic stories
texts about children
erotic cartoons or drawings by children (hentai)
We cannot process images that are not on the public internet. Examples of this are:
cloud environments
files on someone’s computer
one-on-one distribution via email
footage on the dark web
Have you encountered CSAM in a non-public place? Or do you want to report other shocking images? Please contact one of the following organizations:
The police. Via the general police telephone number, 0900-8844 or at the police station in your place of residence. Or report anonymously to Meld Misdaad Anoniem, 0800-7000.
Is a child in immediate danger? Then call the emergency number 112.

Beware
Detecting CSAM is a task of the police. Do not actively search for it yourself and do not participate in its distribution. This is punishable.
If you actively look for criminal material, you can disrupt ongoing police investigations. You can also become the subject of a police investigation yourself.
