Meldpunt Kinderporno has been established in 1995 and is an initiative of Offlimits, the online child abuse expertise center. Over the years, we have become experts in the Netherlands in the field of recognizing and combating online images that contain sexual abuse of children. We do this by checking reported photos and videos against Dutch legislation. In the field of investigation, we work closely with the Police and Interpol.
Internationally, Meldpunt Kinderporno is part of the INHOPE network, an umbrella organization of 52 reporting points worldwide. Together we keep our knowledge and skills up to date through frequent training and meetings.
Offlimits stands for a free and safe internet for everyone. Thanks to our expertise and experience, we, like no other, know how the online world works and how we can combat online inappropriate behavior. With the Meldpunt Kinderporno, Stop it Now and HelpWanted initiatives, Offlimits works towards a cleaner internet. We help victims of online inappropriate behavior and we work on prevention.
